Dealing with a breakdown in any situation can be stressful, but it's much more stressful when you're trying to deal with a breakdown in a foreign country and in a foreign language; those unfortunate enough to have had the experience will no doubt recall the memory with some amount of pain.

However, while AA European Breakdown Cover doesn't perform miracles, it's a pretty useful service to be able to avail oneself of in the event of a breakdown, providing not only the technical expertise to liase with foreign recovery services where necessary, but also translation services too.
